Shafaq News/ The Director General of Retirement in Kurdistan Region, Hazem Ismail, said on Saturday that next year will be a date for transferring the distribution of retirees' salaries to the electronic system.
Ismail told Shafaq News Agency, that the efforts of the regional government are continuing to convert the mechanism for distributing retirees' salaries to the electronic system, indicating that the system will enter into force at the beginning of the new year.
And Ismail, that "the regional government has completed the first phase of the project, which includes linking all the retirement directorates to each other according to the electronic system, which number 15 directorates, explaining that "the data of paper files is currently being transferred to the computer."
Ismail added that "the second phase of the project includes linking the directorates with banks, with the aim of distributing salaries through the smart card," explaining that "the General Directorate has started at the present time to prepare for the issuance of smart cards."
