The National Director of the National Retirement Authority, Ahmed Abdel-Jalil, has set the date for the payment of pensioners ’salaries, denying that a portion of the salaries will be deducted or suspended.
Abdul Jalil said in a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (conscious) and seen by Sada agency, that some social networking sites circulated a total of information about the delay in the payment of pension payments, indicating that the Ministry of Finance and the national pension life are working hard to provide cash liquidity for the purpose of disbursing pension salaries in the next two days. .
He added that there is no validity for any decision to deduct part of the salaries or to stop spending.
The Director of the National Retirement Authority, Ahmed Abdel-Jalil, had clarified earlier, the fact that a decision was made to deduct a percentage of the pensioners ’salaries for the current month.
Abdul Jalil said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The retirement authority has not reported on deduction of 12% of the pensioners' salaries."
He added that "the retirement organization is working to prepare the lists and create financial liquidity, and then the salaries of retirees will be released."
The news media reported that a decision had been issued to deduct 12% of pensioners ’salaries for the current month.
