The Parliamentary Transportation and Communications Committee seeks to unify the monthly subscription price for Internet service, as well as to improve the services available to citizens to match their price.
Committee member Karwan Ali Yarouis said, "The committee's efforts came against the background of the great disparity between one region and another in terms of prices and quality of the Internet provided to citizens," according to the official newspaper.
Yarouis revealed that "a meeting was held between the members of the committee with the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, to discuss a mechanism for improving the service available to citizens, and unifying the monthly subscription price for them." Ended 29/N33
