    The Ministerial Council for Social Services held its first session, Sunday, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Planning, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Tamim.
    At the outset of the session, the Minister stressed the importance and the great role played by the Ministerial Council in the services sector, by evaluating, correcting and proposing solutions to lagging projects that are presented to him or proposed by the Council to serve the citizens and the country's infrastructure.
    The Council discussed three files on its agenda, namely: reviewing projects that are lagging behind in the governorates and ministries, addressing the obstacles they face, submitting proposals in this regard to the Council of Ministers or the Ministerial Council for the Economy, reviewing and supporting emergency security projects for the purpose of directing them towards government priorities, as well as discussing the issue of the strategic project. for Basra schools.
    The members of the Council agreed on a number of recommendations regarding agenda files, in a way that secures and facilitates implementation mechanisms. In order to provide services with technical, administrative and legal paths in order to achieve the public benefit of citizens.
    It is noteworthy that the Ministerial Council for Social Services was formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning as Chairman, and the membership of the Ministers of Construction, Housing, Works and Public Municipalities, Health, Justice, Transport, Migration and Displacement, and Environment, and the Chairman of the Council of Advisors as a member and secretary of the Council.[/size]
