    Today, Friday, the Ministerial Council for Social Services announced a governmental recommendation to implement the unified electronic portfolio for tenders.
    And the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated, in a statement received by (Al-Oula News), that “the Ministerial Council for Social Services held its seventh regular session in the General Secretariat building, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Muhammad Ali Tamim.”
    He added that "the council discussed a number of topics included in its agenda, which included several files, most notably: granting authority to the Anbar Governorate regarding issuing invitations to specialized companies to implement a project to maintain payment stations and the conveyor pipe, deliver electricity to the stations of the Western Desert Water Directorate, and amend the decision of the Ministerial Council for Social Services." regarding the implementation of the electronic platform for government investment advertisements.
    And he continued, “The council also discussed the national plan for the return of the displaced, and a report on the reality of the municipal departments in the Baghdad Municipality, in coordination with them and the concerned authorities.”
    He pointed out that “the council voted on several recommendations, most notably: approval of amending the decision of the Ministerial Council for Social Services (23002) to be as follows: The Ministry of Planning undertakes the implementation of the unified electronic portfolio for public government tenders – the first phase, and the announcement of projects and the sale of their documents to government investment projects as an investment opportunity It is prepared by a specialized consultant, including (economic feasibility, scope of work, technical specifications, conditions of participation, and qualification of advanced companies to reach the contract formula) based on the infrastructure of the Ministry of Communications, provided that the company to which the bid is awarded bears the fees of the consultant.
