    Today, Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani announced the opening of 64 schools throughout Basra Governorate.
    The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement, received by (Al-Oula News), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani inaugurated the Black Gold Primary School for Girls in Basra Governorate,” noting that “64 school buildings throughout the province were also opened, during a ceremony that was held.” Today in the office of the Basra Governorate Council, attended by the Minister of Education and the Governor.
    The statement added, "The 64 schools were distributed among the different regions of Basra, the share of the center was 18 schools, and the rest of the school buildings were distributed between the north of Basra by 25 schools, and the Zubair district west of Basra 12 schools, and the share of the Shatt al-Arab district east of the governorate was 6 schools, and the share of the district Abi al-Khasib, south of Basra, 3 schools.
    During the opening ceremony, Al-Sudani affirmed, “The government is keen to give the educational file the utmost importance, especially with regard to speeding up the implementation of school buildings,” explaining that “the opening of this number of schools today in the governorate with high specifications will contribute to ending the suffering of our dear students.”
    He pointed out that "next year will witness the completion of the implementation of other numbers of schools, which contributes to the development of the educational path and securing its most basic pillars represented by school buildings."
