The Federal Integrity Commission called, on Sunday, for the adoption of the electronic mechanism, and the preparation of a clear and specific mechanism for the payment of salary differences for retirees and victims of terrorism, as an alternative to the current method of payment, which is marred by cases of corruption and lack of the principle of justice.
The Commission of Integrity stated in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "the Department of Prevention in the Commission, in a report it prepared on the visits that its author team made to the National Retirement Authority, to see its mechanisms of work, suggested directing notifications from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to ministries and non-governmental entities." Associated with a ministry, in order to send the amounts of pension contributions to the State Employees Pension Fund on the specified date without delay and approach the Ministry of Finance to release the amounts of financial dues, and work to end this file, in addition to taking deterrent measures against employees who are proven to have blackmailed citizens in the matter of paying salary differences. .
The department indicated, according to the statement, that "the retirees and victims of terrorism who are entitled to previous salary differences became payable and subsequently sums of money owed by the National Retirement Authority; and due to the lack of sufficient funds, as a result of the failure to approve the federal general budget, the beneficiaries resort to reviewing the offices of members of the House of Representatives and officials in The state to assist in disbursing the differences, as (62) letters were received from the deputies within one day, or a request to meet the head of the retirement committee, the number of which for one day amounted to (100) requests for an interview,” pointing out that “the head of the retirement committee did not show the necessary cooperation with the team when Demand to see the applications even though they are archived.
