[size=45]The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed that the payment of contributions for voluntary retirement will be electronic.[/size]
[size=45]Director General of the Retirement and Social Security Department, Kholoud Hayran, said, “Minister of Labor, Ahmed Al-Asadi, will hold a press conference next week and will announce new privileges for insured retirees and the number of applicants for voluntary retirement.”[/size]
[size=45]Hayran added, "Payment of contributions for optional retirement will be electronic," noting that "there are a number of decisions that will be issued later to guarantee the rights of workers in the private and informal sectors."[/size]
[size=45]Earlier, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed that the number of applicants for optional social security had reached more than 5,000 citizens.[/size]
[size=45]The ministry’s spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, said, “The optional insurance targets people with simple professions such as barbers, taxi drivers, and others,” noting that “salaries range between 350,000 dinars and 1.75 million dinars.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Aqabi added, “Applying for the optional guarantee will be done electronically through the Ur portal, and payment methods will be electronic in the future,” noting that “the citizen will have a choice in the case of payment, whether every month, every 3 months, or every year.”[/size]
[size=45]He added that "the citizen can move between the categories of optional social security salaries according to his financial situation and its improvement," adding that "the ministry has received more than 5,000 requests for optional social security."[/size]
