    Today, Wednesday, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, revealed the details of the meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security.
    Rasool said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today) that Al-Sudani “presided over a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security, in the presence of members of the Council, where the meeting witnessed a review of the most important challenges facing national security, foremost among them the government's efforts to pursue organized crime gangs and parties that seek to sabotage the national economy by smuggling currency out of the country.
    He added, "The security and intelligence services have been confirmed to track them down and make every effort to obtain the most severe legal penalties, in addition to those who facilitated this."
    On the other hand, the meeting stressed, according to the statement, “the need to establish mechanisms for the process of delivering relief materials to the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which are received from community contributions, in addition to government aid, provided that the Materials are sent according to the approved official contexts."
    The council decided, according to the statement, "to allow the entry of (dab fertilizer and urea) through the Kurdistan region of Iraq to other provinces to meet the needs of farmers and farmers from these two materials, provided that the security forces provide the appropriate facilities for that.”
    The council discussed “the study prepared by the Army Chief of Staff, which aims to include members of the armed forces with monthly allowances similar to their peers working in the liberated governorates, according to Cabinet Resolution 584 of 2013, in areas that were witnessing security instability, and at studied rates, according to regions.” .
    The meeting also discussed the security repercussions of Makhmour camp, and the need to organize work in it in terms of security and administration.
