The Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Wednesday, the implementation of two arrests for those accused of trespassing on state-owned real estate and promoting transactions. Contrary to the law in Nineveh Governorate.
The Commission’s Investigation Department stated in a statement, “The Nineveh Investigation Directorate’s work team was able to apprehend two owners of real estate offices on charges of encroaching on plots of agricultural land owned by the state, cutting them and selling them without obtaining the fundamental approvals, indicating that the area of the land is (5) dunums and is estimated Its value is (1,550,000,000) billion dinars.
The department added, "During the operation, which was carried out on the basis of a judicial note, an amount of five million dinars was seized, and (34) sums of money were received from citizens for the sale of plots of land."
She explained that "the team carried out, in cooperation with the Popular Mobilization Authority in the city of Mosul, an operation to arrest a person on the grounds that he promoted social welfare grant transactions and conducted a field survey instead of his wife who is employed as a contract in the Women's Welfare Authority in Nineveh Governorate, and that he received sums of money for each A treatment he promotes in violation of the law, pointing out that the accused is affiliated with the Peshmerga forces and has no relationship with the Social Welfare Department.
She indicated, "two fundamentalist arrest reports were organized in the two operations, and they were presented, along with the three suspects, to the judge of the Integrity Investigation Court in Nineveh Governorate, who decided to arrest them in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code."
