Samarra Pharmaceutical Company set, on Saturday, a scheduled date to reduce drug prices, stressing that the reduction of customs duties was in favor of private sector factories.
The company's general manager, Abd al-Rahman Abbas al-Samarrai, said in a statement, "The government medical sector and investment in it are exempt from taxes and customs tariffs," pointing out that "the reduction in customs duties came in favor of private sector factories, and this step is considered positive in the benefit of private factories, provided they are invested." for the benefit of the citizen.
