    First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi agreed, on Monday, with Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Abdullah Al-Faraya to coordinate the work of the chambers of commerce and industry and facilitate the granting of visas.
    The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament said in a statement, "The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by Mandalawi, met with the Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Abdullah Al-Faraya, to discuss a number of common files and issues."
    He added, "Al-Mandalawi called for coordination between the ministries of interior in the two countries with regard to cooperation between the Iraqi and Jordanian chambers of commerce and industry, and facilitating the granting of visas to merchants and businessmen to support the wheel of investment and increase the volume of trade exchange."
    And he continued, that Al-Mandalawi "discussed the necessity of securing the borders between the two neighboring countries, and the role of the Jordanian side in addressing the problems that may face the Iraqi community and investors, and providing facilities for the entry of travelers between the two countries through the land ports, calling for the resumption of the meetings of the Economic Council for the purpose of speeding up the implementation of memorandums of understanding regarding the industrial zone." and free zone.
    For his part, the Jordanian Minister of Interior confirmed that "the ministry provides unprecedented facilities to Iraqi residents and arrivals, and that there are directives to facilitate and speed up the procedures for obtaining an entry visa, and to resume work on the electronic visa between the two sides."
