A deputy submitted an amendment to an article in the draft financial budget law, which is the first after the House of Representatives completed the first reading of the law yesterday.
Representative Ali Gharkan Al-Dalfi demanded, in a book that (Baghdad Today) obtained a copy of, "the Presidency of the House of Representatives and the Finance Committee to amend Article (55) of the Budget Law for the purpose of including all pupils and students with the monthly financial grant and not limiting it to one category."
Yesterday, the House of Representatives finished the first reading of the draft federal budget law for the Republic of Iraq for the fiscal years (2025, 2024, 2023).
Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, First Deputy Speaker of the Council, called for expediting the preparation of a report for the draft budget law and for its second reading, as it "affects the needs of citizens and for the implementation of service and investment projects."
