    The Minister of Finance, Taif Sami Muhammad, confirmed her aspiration for more international support in favor of establishing promising development projects and attracting investments.

    A statement by the Ministry of Finance, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The Minister of Finance, Taif Sami Muhammad, received the delegation of the United Nations representative in Iraq, which included the deputy representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ghulam Muhammad Ishaq Zai, the advisor to the deputy for economic affairs, Ashraf Abdel-Al, and the advisor to the deputy. Permanent Solutions, Mohamed Abdel-Razzaq, and the Special Assistant, Asaad Ibrahim.
    He added, "The meeting discussed ways to consolidate joint cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations, and seek to build broader partnerships to promote sustainable development in the sectors of finance, economy, investment, infrastructure and private sector support. The meeting also dealt with government plans prepared to implement its government program, and the most important priorities aimed at raising indicators The national economy and providing the best services to citizens, and working hard to achieve economic and financial reform as a first step towards comprehensive reforms in the state structure and the financial system in particular.[/size]
