[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers expressed its aspiration for the electronic platform to support development projects to be an opportunity to make donations electronically using electronic payment mechanisms, which gives the donor the opportunity to find out about the programs he supports.
The head of the Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Ashraf Al-Dahan, said, during the official announcement of the launch of the e_Donate electronic platform application, today, Tuesday, in the capital, Baghdad, under the auspices of the Central Bank of Iraq, that “the Unified Iraqi Medical Society for Relief and Development is one of the institutions registered in the Non-Governmental Organizations Department.” It is one of the distinguished associations and has a prominent role in many humanitarian, relief and medical works since its establishment until today.
He added, "The launch of this application came in line with technological progress to facilitate donation methods, especially since social solidarity has become ever more necessary, in order to achieve the highest meanings of giving among the segments of society, for the association to be a pioneer in its societal responsibilities and its belief in the role that organizations play in this regard."
He explained, "The application is a development of modern systems and technologies and the most detailed financial systems in compliance with local and international laws and regulatory requirements," noting that "the Central Bank of Iraq had a prominent role in supporting civil society organizations and raising their efficiency and level of organization.”/ End 5
