    Representative Alia Nassif called on the Prime Minister and the Integrity Commission to open an investigation into violations committed by the general manager of the Ibn Majid State Company affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, indicating that there are positions that are being bought and sold in the Ministry of Industry.[/size]
    [size=45]And she said in a statement today, that: “We received information stating that it was agreed to install the current director of the Ibn Majid Company in his position in return for selling the steel plant project to an Iranian company for an amount of 40 billion dinars and selling the scrap after obtaining the position of director in person, in addition to other contracts.”[/size]
    [size=45]Nassif added: “The information talks about the manager of Ibn Majid Company paying 4 notebooks last week after he went to Baghdad and met a person who lives in Al-Harithiya and is very close to (an important person) in the Ministry of Industry and works with the brother of (the important person), and the person who lives in Al-Harithiya He had also received a gift (a Tahoe car) from the director of Ibn Majid Company after publishing the sale of the steel plant project to an Iranian company under the contract concluded between Ibn Majid Company and the Iron and Steel Company.[/size]
    [size=45]And she continued: “There is a merchant from Basra who paid an amount of two billion dinars as a price to appoint this person as a manager of the Ibn Majid Company, and a few days ago he threatened the manager to expose the agreement between them after the scandal of selling the steel mill project spread, then the dispute ended with an agreement to hand over the scrap of the Ibn Majid Company After receiving a letter appointing him as a manager in person, or he returns the amount to the merchant, bearing in mind that the merchant is a friend and partner of the General Manager of the Iron and Steel Company for a long time, and he is the one who also paid for the Tahoe cars that were distributed as gifts.”[/size]
