    Shafaq News/ Tehran threatens to launch military action if the deadline it granted to the Baghdad government to neutralize the weapons of the Iranian Kurdish opposition parties expires on September 19.
    The Deputy for Operations Affairs in the Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforshan, said in a statement to the Iranian Tasnim Agency on September 9, “This September 19 is the end of the deadline set for Iraq to disarm armed groups, and if they do not fulfill their obligations, we will return to the previous situation.” We are forced to defend the interests of the Iranian people."
    A former security official in the Kurdish Peshmerga revealed an Iranian threat to launch military operations against the Kurdish parties opposed to Iran located on the border between Kurdistan and Iran and the provinces of the region.
    Retired Lieutenant General and expert in military and Peshmerga affairs, Jabbar Yawar, told Shafaq News Agency: “An unannounced agreement was made last year between security officials from the federal government and the Kurdistan Region to expel and evacuate the Kurdish armed parties and factions opposed to Iran and present in the border strip between Iran and Kurdistan and some areas of the region.”
     And between Yawar; "The agreement stipulates that the opposition armed parties and organizations be removed 100 km from the Iranian border and that they be stripped of weapons within a maximum period of September 19. Otherwise, the Iranian side has waved military options and solutions to strike the opposition armed parties and factions."
    The former official in the Kurdish Peshmerga noted: He pointed out that "Kurdish parties and armed movements opposed to Iran have been present in Kurdistan along a 700-km stretch of the border strip between Iran and Kurdistan since 1986 to this day."
    Yawar noted that "the Iraqi side and the regional government have not taken any steps towards the armed parties and movements yet or implemented the terms of the agreement, which includes evacuating them to camps far from the Iranian border, which portends Iranian military steps in Kurdistan, according to Iranian military officials."
    The military expert counted the locations of the Kurdish opponents of Iran in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Alton Bridge, within political party headquarters and multiple military wings, most notably (the Democratic and Free Life parties, Komala and Azadi parties).
    For his part; The media official of the Iranian Kurdistan Toilers Association confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Islamic Republic of Iran is continuing its threats and attacks against the Kurdish parties.
    The media official of the Iranian Kurdistan Workers’ Association, Navid Mehraoud, said in a statement to Shafaq News Agency: It is "with the aim of diminishing the importance of the Kurdish women's uprising, which falls days after the anniversary of the Kurdistan women's uprising, and Kurdish women are preparing to commemorate this anniversary in democratic protest ways, but the Iranian side is trying to deter the uprising again."
    He added, "The Iranian state and leaders are continuing their threats and declarations of war against the Kurdish parties, and are trying in the coming days to launch military operations against the parties opposing their policies in conjunction with the anniversary of the uprising of Kurdish women citizens."
    He stated that "many media outlets covered news that reported statements by Iranian officials stating that they would evacuate the headquarters of the Iranian Kurdish parties in Iraqi Kurdistan and disarm them, but we did not receive any official communication from any party about those intentions, stressing that if we were informed of those intentions, we would have a response position." It will be announced in due course.”
    Kurdish, Arab and Iranian media reported news that Iran intends to pressure some parties to evacuate the headquarters of the Iranian Kurdish opposition parties and disarm them in conjunction with the first anniversary of the Kurdish women’s uprising.
    The sources in Sulaymaniyah said, “Pavel Talabani arrived in Tehran late on Sunday night, with prominent Iraqi Kurdish leaders, with the aim of holding important meetings with Iranian officials, related to the file of the Iranian Kurdish opposition present on the border inside.”

    The same sources added that "Talabani's visit came in coordination with the Iraqi government, especially since the majority of Iranian Kurdish opposition groups are located in areas under the control of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan."
     For his part, the Operations Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Brigadier General Abbas Nilforshan, threatened last Saturday that the Kurdistan Region of Iraq would be destroyed unless it implemented its pledges, in accordance with the three agreements recently concluded between Baghdad, Tehran, and Erbil. 
    Nilforshan said in press statements followed by Shafaq News Agency, "The end of the implementation of our agreement concluded with Iraq is September 19. If they do not implement their obligations, we will return to the previous situation, and we will be forced to defend the interests of the Iranian people."
    He added: "We are committed to the content of the concluded agreement, not a word less, not a word more, and just as Tehran has fulfilled its pledges, it expects the other party to adhere to them."
    While the Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, confirmed last Thursday, in press statements followed by Shafaq News Agency, that his country is making “great efforts” to implement the security agreement with Iran related to dismantling the Iranian Kurdish opposition groups located on the Iraqi-Iranian border in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
    The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, said on the 28th of last month that an agreement had been concluded between Iran and Iraq, “under which the Iraqi government pledged to disarm separatist armed terrorist groups on Iraqi soil and the Kurdistan Region,” in reference to the armed Iranian Kurdish opposition present there. . 
    Kanaani added that Iraq also "pledged to evacuate the military headquarters they use and transfer them to camps designated by the Iraqi government."
