She added, "There are risks facing the Kurdistan region's experience at the level of Iraq and abroad, and the dangers of the terrorist organization ISIS remain on the cut-off areas, in addition to the dangers that threaten the lives of our citizens in the border areas that are witnessing a proxy war."
Faeq explained, "From the perspective of our sense of responsibility in the Kurdistan Parliament, we submitted several memoranda to the United Nations representation in the Kurdistan region and the three presidencies in Iraq with the aim of stopping military campaigns and removing the specter of war from the Kurdistan region."
The Speaker of Parliament stressed by saying: "All parties must play their role in stopping the war on the borders of the Kurdistan region, especially since Iraq is one of the founding members of the United Nations, protecting international security and stability from the goals of the United Nations, and protecting the borders and sovereignty of Iraq from the tasks of the federal government."
