The coalition of "State of Law", led by Vice President "Nuri al-Maliki" on Wednesday, politicized the measures of Parliament, which voted to respond to the referendum of separation of Kurdistan last month.
"Most of the border crossings, airports and Kirkuk oil are still in the hands of the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union and the government has no control over it," said the MP of the coalition, Awatif Na'ama, in a statement to the Journal News. "The government is declaring in the media things that are contrary to the real implementation of the parliamentary procedures in Kurdistan "He said.
"People in the government are politicizing the parliament's decisions towards the region for benefits that may be personal," she said.
She pointed out that "Prime Minister Haider Abadi is obliged to implement the decisions of the parliament and the imposition of real authority on the territory in full, because Iraq paid blood in return for the legitimate rights of the Iraqis."
The Iraqi parliament committed Prime Minister Haider Abadi in an extraordinary session to return all areas occupied by the province and the imposition of law and security in northern Iraq and control of the border ports and airports in the region in response to the referendum.
