The Saudi ambassador to Baghdad, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, announced today, Wednesday, that Saudi companies will enter Iraq in order to support the housing sector .

Al-Shammari said: “What I saw at the first conference of the
Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities under the slogan (Governmental Program and Solution to the Housing Crisis) Iraqis have the right to be proud of in terms of a great diagnosis of the housing crisis,” indicating that “there is a great and wonderful effort and work from all government agencies.”
Al-Shammari added, in an interview with the official news agency and followed by “Al-Ghad Press,” that “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its companies will enter Iraq to support the housing sector.”
Last month, the Service Effort Team confirmed that Iraq needs 3 million housing units to solve the crisis, noting that the new residential cities will provide thousands of job opportunities for the unemployed.
