[rtl]Baghdad - Iraq today:
The Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority signed an executive memorandum with its German counterpart in order to develop air traffic between the two countries. A statement to inform the Aviation Authority stated that the signing of the memorandum “came based on the invitation sent by the German side, and in the presence of a representative from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Iraqi national carriers.”The statement quoted the head of the Aviation Authority, Imad Al-Asadi, as saying, “The meeting with the German side discussed a draft of the air transport services agreement for the purpose of updating the previous agreement signed between the two countries in 1977, In addition to signing an executive memorandum with the German side to develop air transport traffic between the two countries in a way that serves... "The Iraqi National Transport Authority and the current Iraqi airports, in addition to the airports that will be opened soon in Iraq, to serve Iraqi travelers heading to this vital destination.”[/rtl]
