Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq’s total sales of hard currency during the past week amounted to more than one billion US dollars.
Shafaq News Agency correspondent stated that the Central Bank sold during the past week and for the five days in which the auction was opened, one billion and 10 million and 484 thousand and 84 dollars, at a daily rate of 202 million and 96 thousand and 816 dollars, an increase from last week by 3%, which amounted to It has sales of 197 million, 677 thousand and 718 dollars.
The highest dollar sales were on Monday, when they amounted to 219 million, 107,561 dollars, while the lowest sales were on Wednesday, when they amounted to 197 million, 154,228 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that foreign remittance sales during the past week amounted to 951 million 728 thousand and 800 dollars, an increase of 83.91% compared to cash sales that amounted to 153 million 116 thousand dollars.
