In most cases, the economy of countries depends on corrective policies called for by specialists when they see the necessities of action. They take ways to fill the void that must be filled in any of the development fields in order to seek progress, including our country, which possesses all the elements of self-advancement, such as the true will and sound planning to revitalize the economy and consolidate its development path to be one of the Countries that are credited with dealing with their economic crises based on their internal capabilities and not only on external factors.The new national economic policy is to support the pharmaceutical industry sector, which those in charge of it today are calling for, and it stems from the philosophy of investing in Iraqi competencies and technical personnel specialized in this field and enhancing their role in enabling Iraqi society to own important means of production, in addition to the sound vision for advancing the reality of medical investment by benefiting from expertise. The government and private sectors in the various pharmaceutical industry, and in light of the government’s directions to restore its luster, as it was before, as many owners of companies specializing in this sector came forward to request permission to open local pharmaceutical industry projects, and the Prime Minister received (40) requests to establish pharmaceutical factories and began implementing more than A few of them and an increase in the number recorded in the past months after the government’s decision to localize and support this industry.These promising initiatives have recorded the availability of work requirements and the commencement of their implementation in accordance with specialized plans and studies, including the manufacture of medicines to treat chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma, in addition to necessary antibiotics. If we want to enhance it with success factors, the efforts of governmental and non-governmental agencies must be combined to develop this sector to achieve two basic principles. The first is to improve the health situation in Iraq, because our country is currently facing many challenges in its drug security, which is being addressed partially and in an unregulated manner by relying on import companies in light of an acute shortage of medicines related to life-saving treatments for patients, as it is considered one of the unstable countries in the health field due to the lack of manufacturing. My medicine covers the needs of government hospitals for medicines and treatments, even though the pharmaceutical industry is one of the most important pillars of the security of any country in the world.The other matter is to strengthen the reality of the national economy by issuing a set of decisions regarding the importance of securing contracts for the Ministry of Health and all its institutions with those factories, in addition to private sector outlets such as warehouses, pharmacies, and private hospitals to supply them with the local product of various medicines. This in turn takes us to another destination that does not stray from what was previously mentioned in that issue, which is Paying attention to quality and medical properties that have an effective and high quality effect on the body of patients and accelerating their recovery to match the types of medicines imported from foreign origins, which burden the country’s annual budgets with huge financial costs. If they are provided, Iraq will have achieved a qualitative breakthrough in strengthening its national economy with major financial support factors.
