[size=45]The Legal Committee announced yesterday that the government needs 8 and a half trillion dinars to adjust salaries. A member of the Legal Committee, Murtada Al-Saadi, told Al-Mada: “The Legal Committee regarding the Retirement Law decided to host the Director of Public Retirement to find out the aspects related to the paragraphs that were objected to regarding the recent Retirement Law.”[/size]
[size=45]He explained, “Most financial laws are suspended at the present time, but the retirement law has become an urgent situation and requires major treatment regarding the salaries of presidencies and other entities with independent bodies and high salaries.” He stressed, “According to preliminary information, we need 8 and a half trillion dinars to adjust salaries.”[/size]
