    Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Mustafa Al-Karawi, revealed today, Thursday, the results of the meeting of the Ministers of Federal Finance and Kurdistan in the capital, Baghdad, while he touched on the file of salaries of the region’s employees, indicating the position of the Kurds on the localization of the salaries of their employees in Baghdad.

    Al-Karaawi said in an interview with Al-Sumaria News, “The financial relations with the Kurdistan region have been accumulated and affected for many years, and they need time to meet the ambition and comply with the applicable laws and financial management laws, in addition to the financial budget law for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.”



    He added, "The Finance Committee's meeting with the Ministers of Finance of the Federal Government and the Kurdistan Region included a review of the region's obligations, which were confirmed in the last budget, represented by opening the account and delivering oil and non-oil imports, as well as submitting a monthly trial balance for each spending unit," referring to "a discussion of Kurdistan's obligations regarding the issue of exporting oil or delivering it for internal use.”
