    [rtl]More than 600 Iraqi non-governmental organizations launched a “Cry to the Human Conscience” to support the besieged Gaza, calling on the United Nations to activate its slogans in its Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

    The organizations stated in a unified statement in Arabic, Kurdish and English, “The Iraqi non-governmental organizations that signed this statement issue a cry to the global human conscience, as we live in the twenty-first century, the era of freedom, democracy and human rights, to pay attention to the suffering of the Palestinian people, especially in the Gaza Strip.” Who suffered and continues to suffer from occupation, displacement, siege, starvation, murder and genocide, from the most powerful armed force, equipped with a merciless military machine, which burns land, people, and life, and cuts off the most basic means of life, such as water, food, medicine, electricity, and other services.”

    She added, “We call on the United Nations to activate its slogans in its Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and to intervene forcefully and decisively, and we call on civil society to look at the issue of the Palestinian people in its comprehensive form, with its history and facts, and the principle of life for every human being in his homeland and land, strengthened and honored, enjoying what it stipulates.” International covenants of rights, and the implementation of international resolutions issued by the United Nations.”

    He continued: “We also appeal to humanitarian organizations around the world to stand together against methods of collective punishment and the use of excessive force against civilians, and to ensure the provision of life and decent living for all peoples of the earth. Let us all work to stop violence, save lives, spread peace, and spread love and harmony.”[/rtl]
