The Election Commission announced today, Wednesday, the number of candidates excluded from the upcoming elections.
Commission spokeswoman Jumana Al-Ghalai said in a statement to the official agency followed by “Al-Ma’louma” that “the number of candidates excluded from the upcoming elections is 461, including 54 excluded who are subject to criminal restrictions and 240 others who are subject to accountability and justice.”
She added, "The rest of those excluded were divided between forging documents, members of the security services, and others covered by integrity procedures." End 25
