The Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Ankara, Majid Al-Lajmawi, opened today, Thursday, the electronic passport issuance system in the embassy building, where the first electronic passport copy was issued in the Republic of Turkey.[/size]
[size=45]The embassy said in a statement that the third generation of the new Iraqi electronic passport has been launched abroad, which is distinguished by high-level technical specifications and is approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), indicating that the new electronic passport will contribute to reducing about 85% of Paper and administrative procedures, and it will be issued to citizens within a very short period of time.[/size]
[size=45]Ambassador Lajmawi indicated that the embassy and consulates general in Istanbul and Gaziantep are continuing to take effective measures to simplify procedures for citizens residing in the Republic of Turkey and in various fields.[/size]
