Al-Hasnawi said, in an interview with Al-Sumaria News, “Next Sunday, the ministry will launch the health insurance law services,” pointing out that “the law will provide all facilities to employees and citizens in terms of health service.”
He added, "Health insurance will include employees of the Ministries of Electricity, Education, and Communications, in addition to the Human Rights Commission, as well as the Services Council, the Prime Minister's Office, the General Secretariat, and the House of Wisdom."
Al-Hasnawi pointed out, “The health insurance outlets will be in Al-Kindi Hospital, the Medical City, Ibn Al-Bitar, Al-Kadhimiya, consulting clinics, Saad Al-Watari Hospital, and Yarmouk.”
The Minister of Health stated that “those covered by the guarantee will have one percent of their salaries deducted,” adding: “Employees must go to the aforementioned outlets to complete the data and obtain health services in the future.”
Al-Hasnawi stated, "The health insurance law needs 10 years to include all Iraqis in it."
For its part, the Ministry of Health revealed the ministries covered by the Health Insurance Law.
The Ministry stated, in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News, that “the entities covered by health insurance, as a first stage in Baghdad, are the following institutions:
Firstly - the Presidency of the Republic and its associated formations.
Secondly - the Presidency of Parliament and members of the House of Representatives and its associated formations, which include:
- The High Commission for Human Rights.
- The National Authority for Accountability and Justice.
- The Federal Public Service Council.
- The Property Claims Authority.
Third - The Presidency of the Council of Ministers and its related formations, which includes:
- The Office of the Prime Minister.
- The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
- The Iraqi Authority for the Control of Radioactive Sources.
- The National Investment Authority -
House of Wisdom.
- Civil Aviation Authority.
- Border Ports Authority.
- Independent High Electoral Commission.
- Centers of the Ministries (Finance, Electricity, Higher Education, Construction and Housing, Communications, Agriculture).
Fourth - (100) thousand citizens covered by care. Social services in Baghdad and determined by the Ministry of Labor.
Fifth - Those with autism from Baghdad.
Sixth - Those wishing to register among retirees, at a rate not exceeding (10%) of those covered by the instructions from Baghdad.
She indicated, “Health institutions covered by health insurance and as a first stage:
First - Private wards in the following hospitals:
- Ibn Sina Training Hospital.
- Private Nursing Home Hospital in Medical City.
- Martyr Ghazi Hariri Hospital in the Medical City.
- Al-Alawiya Children's Teaching Hospital.
- Al-Alawiya Maternity Teaching Hospital.
- Al-Kindi Teaching Hospital.
- Saad Al Watari Neurological Sciences Teaching Hospital.
- Ibn Al-Haytham Eye Hospital.
- Ibn Al-Bitar Hospital.
- Imam Al-Kazemin (peace be upon him) Medical City.
- Al-Karkh Maternity Hospital.
