The European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Thomas Seiler, today, Thursday, specified the privileges of accepting Iraq as a member of the European Bank.
Seller said in a blog post: “It is a very good day for Iraq and the European Union: Iraq has become a member of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which means that Iraq can submit financing requests from the bank and also obtain support at the policy level in order to further develop the Iraqi economy.” And above all the private sector.”
He added, "The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development can also exchange its expertise with Iraq in areas such as green infrastructure (solar energy), climate change projects and the digital economy, and Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani's development project may also benefit from this bank."
