On Saturday, the Gas Filling and Services Company in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil warned citizens and yards and outlets selling gas cylinders against acquiring and trading plastic cylinders that do not conform to the standard and technical specifications, explaining that they pose a danger to the lives of citizens.
The General Director of the Gas Filling and Services Company, Anmar Ali Hussein, said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, “The company has monitored the entry of plastic cylinders that do not conform to the technical and standard specifications into the capital, Baghdad, and some governorates, through illegal means and methods, warning citizens against using them or trading them because they pose a danger.” on them" .
The Director General pointed out that the company is taking strict measures against gas sales outlets and yards and mobile agents, and approaching the security authorities, the energy police, border crossings and controls between the governorates for the purpose of arresting those involved and confiscating cylinders that do not meet the specifications, in addition to taking legal measures against them.
