    Economy News - Baghdad
Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Commerce announced the identification of some companies that are lagging, inactive, and lagging behind in their annual accounting, while vowing to take three legal measures against them.
The Ministry’s spokesman, Muthanna Al-Fariji, said, “Every company registered according to official documents, and that has taken on a legal entity, cannot be considered fictitious, but some companies have been diagnosed as inactive or who have failed to submit their annual accounting,” stressing that “the procedures against them are continuing, whether... By delisting, liquidating or re-adjusting.”
Al-Fariji pointed out that “the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers decided to give a period of 6 months to lagging companies and inactive companies that did not conduct accounting, while exempting all fines,” stressing by saying: “When the prescribed period expires, these companies will be dealt with directly through delisting and liquidation.”
