The Iraqi Trade Bank informed the Ministry of Electricity of officially ending the localization of its employees’ salaries.
According to a document obtained by “Baghdad Today”, issued by the bank on (November 13, 2023), “based on the role of the Iraqi Trade Bank’s pioneering role in supporting and financing large, medium and small commercial projects, the results of which will be reflected in the revitalization of the local economy and the planned reconstruction of infrastructure.” Infrastructure, and in line with the bank’s strategy of giving priority to commercial financing activity, the bank’s management has decided to terminate the Emiratisation agreements affiliated with your esteemed department, based on the third clause of those agreements, the duration of the agreement.”
She added, "If you do not want it to continue, expire, or cancel, the electronic cards will continue to be valid, and the employee will be treated as a regular customer of the bank without canceling them. We hope that your employees whose salaries are settled with our bank will be changed to the resettlement destination no later than 04/30/2024."
