[size=45]Bakhtiar Haji, Director General of Relations and Follow-up Affairs of the Kurdistan Regional Government Representative Office, received Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health for the Regional Government, and Dr. Saleh Damad, Advisor to the Federal Prime Minister.[/size]
[size=45]At the beginning of the meeting, ways of cooperation and joint coordination between the federal governments and the Kurdistan Region in the field of health were discussed, and a joint mechanism was developed to prevent the entry of smuggled and counterfeit medicines into the country.[/size]
[size=45]For his part, Dr. Shirwan Sadiq, Director of KMCA, explained to the regional government the steps and program of the regional government to protect the local product of medicines and obligate all pharmacies in the region to place a sticker on the medicines to prevent counterfeit medicines from entering the market and to control prices.[/size]
