    The Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee (Collection Committee), headed by Representative Kamel Al-Ugaili, held a meeting on Thursday, 12/21/2023, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Nizar Al-Tamimi, and the ministry’s advanced staff, with the participation of the directors of the ministry’s distribution companies, to discuss the file of service collection and the installation of smart meters.

    The committee also discussed with the Ministry the legal procedures for terminating contracts with delaying companies, as well as the mechanism for selecting specific areas to implement service collection, to limit network overruns.
