[rtl]Baghdad / NINA /- The Parliamentary Electricity and Energy Committee held a joint meeting today, Wednesday, with the Minister of Electricity and Ministry officials, to discuss a number of files, including "the results of contracts with companies in the previous stage in terms of maintenance, production and transportation, details of the two memorandums of understanding with the German company Siemens and the American General Electric company.
The measures taken by the ministry for the summer plan of 2023 were also discussed, and the ministry's perception of bridging the shortfall in production, and according to the available information, there is a large shortage of about 12,000 thousand megawatts, and what are the measures taken in this regard, as well as the ministry's procedures for an alternative to Iranian gas, and the funds required to be allocated in the gas sector .
