The Kurdistan Region continues to violate oil export issues and obstruct the adoption of its law, in addition to the employee salaries crisis, which is marred by many suspicions and major embezzlement, affecting the Kurdish citizen primarily, after the Kurdistan government rejected the government’s move to settle the salaries of the region’s employees and pay them directly from Baghdad.
According to observers, the reasons for the refusal to resettlement have become clear, the most prominent of which is ending the file of fictitious names and forgery, in addition to the success of the resettlement of the salaries of the region’s employees will be the beginning of the Baghdad government’s control over the files of poached border crossings and taxes.

Speaking about this file, Member of the House of Representatives, Suhaila Al-Sultani, revealed that there are major violations in the employee preparation file in the Kurdistan region, while she confirmed that there are deceased people whom Kurdistan is still registering as employees.

Al-Sultani said in an interview that “the region did not adhere to many of the legal paragraphs that were voted on in Parliament,” noting that “the Kurdistan government has so far refused to hand over documents that show the real number of employees in the region.”
She continues, “There are no motives for the region to continue not allowing the Financial Supervision Authority to audit the data,” pointing out that “there are major violations in the employee numbers file in the Kurdistan region.”
