Shafaq News/ An Iraqi government statement said, this evening, Wednesday, that Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez arrived in the capital, Baghdad, at the beginning of an official visit to Iraq.
The media office of Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani said in a statement, received by Shafaq News Agency, that an official reception ceremony will take place tomorrow at the government palace.
Earlier today, a government source told Shafaq News Agency that Sanchez will, in the coming hours, conduct an official visit to the capital, Baghdad, and discuss with his Iraqi counterpart, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, a number of important files at the political, security, and economic levels.
According to the source, Sanchez will also discuss in Baghdad the developments that the world and the region are witnessing due to the Gaza war.
