     Information / Baghdad..
The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee is preparing to discuss the file known as the “American arms sales program,” as it represents a threat to Iraqi security.

Committee member, Representative Salah Zaini, told Al-Maalouma, “The American arms sales program in Iraq, known as (FMSS), will soon be presented to the committee’s table for discussion and a report to be submitted to members of the House of Representatives, as it represents a threat to the country’s security.”
He added, "This program contributes to the weakness of arming the Iraqi security forces," explaining, "Iraq pays the full money, without any obligation to those in charge of this program."
He continued, "The committee sees the need for a comprehensive review of these contracts according to a vision that meets the country's security interest. The program's sales to Iraq can only be described as shameful."
America is imposing pressure on weapons supplies to the Iraqi security forces, including quality and low quality, which hinders its steps to develop its armament.” Ended 25 F
