[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The head of the Social Protection Authority in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Moussawi, discussed with the Chairman of the Labor Committee and Parliamentary Civil Society Institutions in the House of Representatives, Representative Nahida Al-Daini, a number of important files including the results of boycotting data with ministries and government departments that showed a number of employees and retirees proven. Their receipt of social assistance, and the amount of amounts recovered from violators of the Authority’s law.
The Ministry of Labor stated in a statement, “During the meeting, Al-Moussawi discussed the Ministry’s procedures for stopping more than (14) thousand and 600 registrations for deceased social assistance beneficiaries as a result of auditing and boycotting the data, the student grant allocated to social assistance beneficiaries, and the reasons for the delay in the amounts paid by the ministries concerned with the grant.” .
For its part, the committee affirmed its “support for the Authority’s steps in terms of including those eligible, boycotting data, and improving the services provided by the Authority in addition to social assistance.”
The head of the committee, Representative Hussein, stressed, “The importance of giving priority to inclusion for the disabled, women, and the elderly, pointing out that delaying inclusion leads to negative results in raising the standard of living of families below the poverty line.”/End H[/rtl]
