    Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Ministry of Oil announced today, Friday, the expansion of installing liquid gas networks in residential complexes, malls, restaurants, hospitals, industrial factories and poultry fields, while confirming the progress of importing plastic gas cylinders.
    The Director General of the General Company for Gas Filling and Services at the Ministry of Oil, Anmar Ali Hussein, said, “The Ministry of Oil always seeks to provide the best services to citizens through liquid gas network projects in all governmental, private, industrial, commercial and residential sites, to include citizens’ homes as well, and within approved safety conditions, as The staff of the General Company for Gas Filling and Services concerned installed gas networks in (8) residential complexes distributed over 200 thousand and 37 residential units, which are being equipped with gas on an ongoing basis.”
    Hussein added, “The installation of these networks has been expanded to include (172) sites such as malls, restaurants, hospitals, industrial factories, and poultry fields,” noting that “there are (41) complexes under implementation and also (60) industrial sites in which the network system will be introduced to enter service soon.” After all the necessary technical work is completed.”
    He explained, “These networks are available to all citizens who wish to add a gas system within the safety conditions and tank capacity that suits its use.”
    Regarding the installed gas cylinder, Hussein said, “The leadership of the Ministry of Oil was keen to provide the installed gas cylinder to citizens through contracts with major foreign companies specialized in this field, and through the General Company for Gas Filling and Services.”
    He continued: “This matter allowed Iraq to enter the ranks of developed countries that introduced this cylinder into circulation and relieved the burden on citizens due to its small weight compared to the weight of an iron cylinder. It was distributed through the campaigns that the company initiated in vertical residential complexes to relieve the burden on the residents of these complexes due to its ease of carrying and without charge.” .
    He stressed that “the General Company for Gas Filling and Services is continuing to import these cylinders after the success of its experiment and in a large way that it fulfills all safety and security conditions.”
