Samarra Pharmaceutical Company is implementing new projects in cooperation with the private sector to produce antibiotics and important preparations for the local market and the Ministry of Health.
The company’s director, Mohammed Abdul Qader Al-Naimi, told Al-Sabah that among the company’s projects is a factory for the production of vials (cephalosporins), which is the powder for intramuscular and intravenous injection, as the completion rate has reached 98 percent. He pointed out that work is continuing to establish a factory for antibiotics, including (pills, capsules, dry suspensions, penicillins for intravenous and intramuscular injection) in partnership with the private sector, in addition to establishing a factory for the production of sterile preparations, including the manufacture of (liquid ampoules, liquid vials, dental carbon, which includes 54 preparations), which has reached an advanced completion rate, and is a very important project for the local market and the Ministry of Health.
