Dana Gas, the largest private company operating in the natural gas sector in the Middle East, announced on Thursday its financial results for the first quarter ended, including receipt of dues from the Kurdistan Region.
The company stated in a statement received by Al-Maalouma Agency that "during the first quarter of 2024, it recorded revenues of 356 million dirhams ($97 million) and net profits of 139 million dirhams ($38 million), which represents a decline compared to the profits of the first quarter of 2023, which amounted to 183 million dirhams ($50 million)."
It added that "this decline was the result of lower sales prices achieved for condensates during the first quarter of 2024 compared to their prices during the first quarter of 2023." End/25
