As for economic cooperation, it is scheduled to discuss important projects, including the railway link project that Tehran aims to link to Syrian ports, in addition to the "development road" and its potential impact on the Iranian corridor network.

On the diplomatic level, Iran is expected to seek to strengthen Iraq's role as a regional mediator, focusing on issues such as mediation with other Arab countries in the region such as Egypt and Jordan. Iraq has played a prominent role in normalizing relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and Pezeshkian may try to use the visit[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]As an opportunity to develop relations with countries in the region.
