[size=45]The Ministry of Interior announced the issuance of the first unified national card outside Iraq.[/size]
[size=45]A statement by the media office of the Minister of Interior stated that, “Under the supervision of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, and through the intensive follow-up by the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and in a step that is the first in the history of the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, the first national card was issued at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the British capital, London, after the opening of a special office to issue national cards there.”[/size]
[size=45]The statement added, "It is hoped that the Ministry of Interior will open a number of national card issuance offices in a number of countries in succession to provide the best services to Iraqis residing outside the country."[/size]
