Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Minister of Electricity Karim Aftan al-Jumaili instructed to end cooperation with the Siemens German Company because it did not fulfill its commitments within the contracts concluded between the Ministry and the Company in several projects.
The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Electricity Musab al-Mudaris said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The Minister instructed during his visit on Sunday to Rumaila Gas Station in Basra province and his meeting with the cadres of the South Korean Hyundai Company to end the cooperation with the Siemens Company.”
He added “Jumaili justified this decision by the German Company’s non-commitment with its contracts with the Ministry despite the continuous demands and the official letters between the Ministry and the Administration of the Company.”
