    The Oil Ministry announced, on Saturday, thatit will export the first shipment of liquid natural gas to the outside, through the port of Umm Qasr in Basra province, noting that it is aimed at optimizing the investment of wealth hydrocarbon, while ports company confirmed it was the first time that the issue of Iraq where the liquid gas.

" 
    the oil minister Adel Abdul - Mahdi said in, (March 16 , 2016), that Iraq is preparing to export the surplus of natural gas , gasoline liquid to the outside, and as pointed out that Iraq is ranked 11th in the world in gas reserves, confirmed that the first licensing rounds did not obliges companies to extract the associated gas. 
    For its part , the Iraqi ports company, announced that the tanker carrying a cargo of heavy natural gas (liquid) will start heading toward the Red Sea, while confirming that this is the first time that the issue of Iraq where the liquid gas.
