    Maysan (IraqiNews.com) -A source from Maysan Civil Defense revealed the details of the two car bombs that exploded in central Amara city of Maysan province.
    The source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Monday “A car bomb (Hyundai type) was loaded with a large amount of explosives, targeted a gathering for about 80 cleaning labors in 28th Sector area of central Amara city, while another car bomb (Kia type) was detonated about 100 meters from the location of the first car bomb near a local market.”
    “The two explosions resulted in killing 10 civilians and injuring 12 others as initial count according to Civil Defense Department of Maysan,” the source added.

    Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) -The Governor of Maysan, Ali Lazim Dawai, instructed the security bodies to conduct the investigative procedures over the blasts that took place in Maysan.Dawai reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Based on our visit to the bombing area, which witnessed two car bomb explosions that resulted in killing and wounding many innocent people, we have instructed the security bodies to impose security cordon over the area.””The Governor instructed the security bodies to accelerate the process of conducting the investigative procedures and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Experts Unit to start working in the explosion area to figure out the materials used in this attack,” the statement added. \END\
