    Called the Basra Governorate Council, on Friday, the World Heritage Committee, embassies and consulates operating in Iraq to support the accession of the marsh to the list of heritage file, while the United States affirmed its support for the accession of the marshes of the World Heritage List, promised the region "essence" of Iraq and the World Heritage Site and the cradle of human civilization.
    The Chairman of the Committee of the marshes in the Basra Governorate Council, Spring Mansour, in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The local government organized a pause in Hor Almshab in Basra to support the inclusion of the marshes of the south part of the World Heritage list file," calling the 21 countries concerned to vote, embassies and consulates in Iraq to support the marshes file because of its environmental specificity of cultural, tourist and economic. "
    From her part, the US consulate in Basra, support for joining the marshes of the World Heritage list.
    The deputy director of the political section at the consulate, Walker, Murray, in an interview to the (long-Presse), said that "the United States supports efforts that serve to preserve the marshlands of southern Iraq and will do its utmost to support annexation of the World Heritage List, as a file form the core of the Iraqi and World Heritage" noting that "the marshes of the south saw the onset of human civilization what makes it important for the whole world, as well as natural and economic importance."
    The vote on the areas that comprise the World Heritage List will be the middle of next July, in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and many government and community Iraqi authorities launched a campaign to support the accession of the marshes and the effects found in those Regulations.
