    Izzat Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, on Tuesday, the reasons for the low capital Baghdad processing power to the southern provinces exceeded their quotas, with a declining share of Baghdad , confirmed to 3200 MW due tothese abuses. Pointed to the loss of more than 1,000 megawatts of the national system, and pointed to the success of the "experience" of investment included the privatization of thedistribution sector and collection in some areas in Baghdad.

" 
    said the teacher, said that" the national electricity system lost 700 MW due to low gas pressure and scarcity of fuel, also lost 350 megawatts, because of the line of power transmission maintenance high pressure (Rumaila - Khor) and off one of thegenerating units in the gaseous Rumaila plant's output of 200 MW, and reduce download import 150 line MW due to maintenance of this line, as a prelude to reunification obstetric into service with the import of energy lifted after the completion of the line maintenance in the coming hours. " 
    He said the teacher, that " the continuation of the southern provinces exceeded (Wasit, Maysan, Nasiriyah, Basra) on their assessed contributions negative impact in the share of the province of Baghdad, which fell to 3,200 MW of the total requirement of the capital's 6,000 MW, causing reduced hours of processing in thecapital "pointing out that" the ministry renewed its appeals and claims, the governors and councils of past provinces to abide by their quotas prescribed to achieve justice in the distribution, and the preservation of thenational electricity system from a complete stop. " 
    With regard to the privatization of the electricity sector, the teacher said," the ministry later diagnosed high rates Aldhaiat in electrical energy are processed for the citizens, proceeded to divide the capital Baghdad ,regions and provinces to the 180 area, to take control of those missing. "

    he pointed out the teacher that" the investor is a body representing the Ministry of Electricity, in areas that have been forwarded in accordance with the new mechanism , "revealing" the assignment of a number of new areas in the capital Baghdad and other provinces. " 
    for his part, explained the chairman of the Committee on energy in the Baghdad Provincial Council, Saad al -Darraji, in an interview (long - Presse) that "the Ministry of Electricity experience within the draft Zayouna and Mansour, in the capital Baghdad, marked by success and contributed to spreading the culture of rationalization of electricity." 
    He pointed Darraji that "power cuts in the rest of other areas of the province of Baghdad, that go into that experience, comes because of aging power grids and the large excess loads and high temperatures ,"stressing that" if what has been circulating that project to the rest of other cities, we will be able to reach the high processing rates. "

    noteworthy that Iraq is suffering a power shortage, if a production of energy up to 14 355 MW, while the initial estimates because he needs him more than 21 thousand MW. 
    the Iraq suffers a shortage of electric power since the beginning of the year 1990, but the past three years seen an improvement in the provision of electric power after the opening of a number of power stations which (Zubaydiah in Wasit and good deeds in Karbala and Alhaidariya in Najaf and the station gas in Maysan and two stations in Diwaniya station al - Sadr in Baghdad, and stations Shatt al - Arab and Rumaila in Basra and the station gas in Kirkuk) where it continues operating hours to about 20 private hour with low temperatures in the operating hours are shrinking dramatically with higher temperatures and increased loads on the power plants during peak times.
